I dran...Am bowled over by all that reading, Lesley. I drank my way through the summer and only managed one new book, Foley, man who saved 10,000 jews by Michael Smith. Worth reading because it reminds you of just how awful everything was in Germany in the thirties.<BR/>Is there really a book called Bordeaux housewives? Weeping on my own in ...I loved The Kite Runner too. Weeping on my own in bed was pretty satisfying. Have you read A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry. Dark and exquisitely written.
