Bureaucracy schmoorokratie

Yesterday I signed E. up for a new recreation centre. I had to take with me:
  • our most recent tax returns
  • proof that we live at the address we live at
  • an identity photograph
  • a document from social security
  • an insurance document
  • a family allowance document
  • a certificate from our doctor
  • E's medical records for vaccination dates
  • certificates from our employers
One of these I had to forge.

I like the thought of you crouching over a desk, late at night with fingerless gloves and a host of document forging tools. Exciting!

I think you downloaded yourself a photo of Jordan and doctored your face onto her figure. I'm right aren't I?

BK: Shhh! French burocrats might be reading this... they must be doing something to while away those long hours of the workday, there are so so many of them...

I'm guessing you "creatively managed" the photo of E. So that they won't recognize her when she shows up to play. Sort of a stealth attack.

I could tell you which one I forged, but of course then I'd have to kill you.

The last one - that's my guess. Simply due to getting it on time. But don't worry, you don't need to confirm or deny it!

I can't see your FaceBook link as I don't want to sign up for that. Or is it worth it? What are the benefits?

Were you tempted to slip in a piece of signed toilet paper as well?

Confinement

Being confined indoors most of the day, just the four of us, is reminding me of the days when my children were wee and most of our weekends ...
