Confinement
Being confined indoors most of the day, just the four of us, is reminding me of the days when my children were wee and most of our weekends ...

Deborah, who still doesn't have a blog, sent me some photographs of her place for posting "to make everyone else feel better about...

I spend far too much time reading blogs. I’m sure you all agree it’s a shameful, compulsive disorder. So I’m cutting down. I’m going on a dr...

I have a few friends who are currently choosing baby names, so the topic has been on my mind lately. Not long after I met P, he told me that...

Oh Lesley, these holiday snaps are lovely...the scenery is breathtaking and you and the kids look really happy and relaxed, what more can you ask for on holiday?! (Oh and the food....I'm still drooling!)
Ditto. It looks fabulous and I must say you look pretty relaxed on that sunlounger. I love the scenery and the north african architecture. Fantastic :-)
Sarah
Thanks Princesse Ecossaise and Sarah,I sometimes feel like on of those terrible bores who pulls out the screen and the projector to show you his 56305 holiday slides, with detailed commentaries on the day they were taken, the weather conditions and the history of the place you're looking at in catatonic boredom. Just in case anyone is wondering why they can't see me lolling in all my flabby glory on that sunbed, you have to be logged into flickr and one of my contacts. So now you know.
No comparison, Lesley, with the holiday-photo enthusiasists who give harmless commentaries. With the internet one can sit back and enjoy the show while eating a whole bar of Cadbury"s fruit and nut .... and without having to give appreciative grunts all the time.
My prize goes to the photo of the tiles. That's what I want in my garden (plus a fountain and pomegranate tree).
Lush, lush, lush. What a good idea to go somewhere sunny, warm and passionate at this time of year.
It's not boring AT ALL. Certainly looks like you've enjoyed yourselves greatly.
Hmm ...quite envious!
Lovely photos. Will you share the address?
OMG - in response to your comment on Christina's blog about canoeing. Just OMG, blast from the past. My parents used to offer canoe trips for married couples. They said that canoeing was the most efficient way they knew to bring conflict styles to the surface. Which they then worked on during breaks ashore.
Unfortunately, I used that as my standard and discovered the hard way that there are forms of conflict that canoeing doesn't even touch ...
Jonathan: Sure, here's the villa we stayed in http://www.salobrenaholidays.com/
mollyb: "conflict styles"! Ha! Sulking, shouting, questioning the other's familiarity with right and left, blaming the other for the third capsize of the day, need I continue?
Some really delicious ones here and previously; get that sunshine!
and the food...
You have such amazing photos! Where is that place? Tuscany? It looks like heaven!
I'm drooling with envy here in bleak winterland. Fabulous!!
