We're back. It was the wettest August on record in south-west Scotland. Really. Flooding, torrential unrelenting rain, lochs turning into seas.
Och well, we had a good time anyway. And it was 35°C here in Bordeaux yesterday, which in my opinion is just as unpleasant as a bit of rain.

Love your green-themed photo thing! Very creative.
gorgeous photos!
Thanks. You don't get green like that without LOTS of water.
Beautiful, even when it's soaked.
That is what we have to keep telling ourselves, the greenness would not happen without the constant battering with rain! Though it can still feel bleak when it is relentless ... I'm in east Scotland and this summer was certainly not as bad as last summer, we did have some hot days, though the gales have come again.
May you have an Indian summer in Bordeaux... life up here in the North has been cold and wet all summer... it is freakin miz...
In Cuenca (fab) today it was hot but not too bad (now back in boiling Madrid).
Lovely to see these damp photos ... relaxing!
Hasta luego!
Caught between water and fire. Sometimes I cherish the relative meteorological blandery of the East/South-East.
South. West. Scotland. Say no more.
