70

I couldn't let the day go by without saying that my Dad would have been seventy today. He died in 1994 when he was 59 and there was so much living left to do.

Well my mother died last year so now I know what it is like to lose a parent. A sort of ache which comes backwards and forwards. My mother's 2005 catalogue for Hostas arrived recently and I can't look at it without the most terrible pain.
I'm glad to have known your father, Lesley, it makes an extra link in friendship when one knows the family.
