I took these photos today for a 24-hour Flickr challenge. That is the the beginning and the end of my Valentine's day celebrations. Woo-hoo.

More of those fabulous words come to mind thanks to the photos! Crimson for one.
Woke up after fascinating dream on Valentine's Day morning, coincidence. Was in bed with favourite man (unrequited in real life), activity so fanciful and unusual it had me laughing all day.
Now sleeps the crimson petal, now the white; Nor waves the cypress in the palace walk; Nor winks the gold fin in the porphyry font: The fire-fly wakens: waken thou with me.

Sigh ...
Cool montage. Sigh....Some people are just so creative!
No ketchup-stained aprons then?
Deborah:Now that I have looked porphyry up in the dictionary I will never miss a chance to use it.
Jonathan: No definitely no porphyry stains on my aprons.
Beautiful images from the simple things that make our day, our life what it is. Nice art. Nice tip ... thanks for visiting.
