Oh no, I've just received my first spam comment (see last post). Help! Does anyone have any solutions?

There must be the same solution to spam on blog sites as on emails, a blocking system when certain words come up the whole thing gets zapped .....?
Hope beach not as cloudy as Bordeaux.
I don't know how to prevent the spam comments but at least you can delete it from your comments box (is there a trash can icon you can click on?).
I have to say, I had never seen such a LONG spam comment! Yours was humungous!!

I think a solution is to use HaloScan, but I've no idea how. Major bloggers like TalkLeft who get major spam use Typekey which is free!
Thanks Marco, I'll look into it. i'm hoping that it was a one off and that maybe I'll never get any more comment spam.
